We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Compass Group UK & Ireland, who have also joined YouthPath, our targeted employability initiative in the West Midlands.

By coming on board, Compass is furthering its commitment to creating inclusive opportunities for young people who are currently not in education, employment, or training (NEET). As a YouthPath partner, they’ll help unlock potential and provide the vital stepping stones needed to get young people into meaningful careers.

Compass is commited to developing talent through its Our Social Promise – which aims to positively impact one million lives by 2030. 

In 2024, they launched Xcelerate with Edgbaston at the iconic Edgbaston Stadium: a cutting-edge facility equipped with professional kitchens, bars, and front-of-house spaces. This immersive environment offers young people practical, real-world experience and a launchpad into exciting careers in the hospitality industry.

Together, Movement to Work and Compass will focus on creating meaningful work placements and employability opportunities for young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). This partnership will help build confidence, develop vital skills, and unlock potential — empowering young people to take their first steps into the world of work.

This collaboration represents an exciting step forward in expanding access to career pathways in hospitality and beyond, particularly for those facing the greatest challenges in entering the workforce.
