Young people are at the heart of what Skills Exchange SCIO do and their dedicated and caring staff go the extra mile to improve the life chances of some the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
They do this by delivering training and personalised support in employability and personal development always with the young person at the centre. The focus is to support them on their journey towards the world of work, building resilience and raising aspirations, developing skills and experience and watching them grow in confidence and self-belief. They help them to turn negatives into positives.
When you walk into a local restaurant and the kitchen manager is someone Skills Exchange SCIO supported five years ago when they had dropped out of school, was sofa-surfing and didn’t think he would ever amount to anything is how they know what they do works.
