Black Country Talent Match offers intensive, holistic and individualised support which understands and tackles young peoples’ external barriers to work. Young people shape the support they receive depending on their particular needs. Young people can be supported for up for two years. Their new focus on ex-offenders, offering them opportunities to support them into the workforce and reduce the likelihood of re-offending.
The organisation supports young people in co-designing tailored support to develop personalised pathways, bespoke support and access to the right advice and guidance. They develop strong links between businesses and young people through the local hubs and governance structures and uses the links as a platform for opening up employment opportunities for Talent Match Young Adults. The organisation is creative and locally driven, using knowledge about the local economy and opportunities to create innovative solutions that focus on the unique needs of the area.
