Rebecca Kelly – Project Delivery, Events & Comms Manager

Rebecca  joined Movement to Work in November 2025 seconded from the DWP, driven by a desire to make a bigger difference and help even more young people access opportunities that can shape their futures. Their move into the charity reflects years of hands‑on experience working directly with young people through the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), where they played a key role in delivering and championing the Movement to Work programme.

During Rebecca’s time at DWP, they have served as a Work Coach Team Leader, leading a high‑volume, customer‑facing team that supported individuals—particularly young people—through challenging transitions.

Before joining DWP, they gained valuable experience across HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), the Ministry of Justice (MOJ), and the High Commission of Canada in Accra, Ghana. Across these roles, they developed strong analytical skills, cultural awareness, and a deep respect for fairness and dignity—qualities that now underpin their work with young people and employers alike.

Outside of work, they are happiest spending time with family and exploring new places—whether that’s travelling abroad or discovering hidden gems closer to home. They have a surprising love for wallpapering, finding it both creative and calming, and are currently attempting to train a very mischievous puppy who keeps them on their toes and brings plenty of laughter to daily life.
