Movement to Work

Rupert joined Movement to Work in April 2026 as Chief Operating Officer, on secondment from Accenture, where he has worked for over eight years across a range of roles, most recently focused on social impact. Prior to Accenture, Rupert completed the Teach First Leadership Development Programme, teaching on the south coast and gaining first hand experience of the transformative role education and opportunity can play in young people’s lives.

 

Through his work with Teach First and Accenture, Rupert has been driven by a commitment to social mobility and supporting young people to gain skills, confidence and access to meaningful work. In his role as COO, Rupert is passionate about supporting the organisation, its people and its partners to deliver impactful opportunities for young people to step into the world of work.

 

Away from his role, Rupert enjoys spending time in nature, particularly hiking and wild swimming. He also enjoys travelling and cooking, often drawing inspiration from the places he visits.
