Get ready for Pride

Looking to celebrate who you are, express your creativity, and build confidence in a supportive space?

On our free Get Started in Pride programme, you'll take part in vibrant, hands-on activities with Boots and L’Oréal to explore your identity, develop new skills, and connect with others. During the programme, you'll:
  • Design your own Pride flags, capes or banners to showcase your creativity
  • Learn expert techniques from Boots and L’Oréal beauty specialists to create your own Pride look
  • Discover career opportunities at Boots and hear inspiring stories from Boots and The King’s Trust
  • Explore self-empowerment, create your own Pride playlist, and identify your personal heroes in a safe and supportive environment
  • Meet new people, build friendships and most importantly have fun!
You'll also get continued support from The King’s Trust, including a progression day the following week to help you take your next steps into work, education or training.
Plus, you'll have the opportunity to attend the Nottingham Pride Parade 2026 with The King’s Trust and Boots (optional), celebrating everything you've achieved together!
