Maternity Night Support Worker

Maternity cover starting September 2026
Mon, Tues & Weds 15:30pm - 21:30pm
18 hours per week

The post is term-time only - standard 39 week school year within the residential area.

Key Responsibilities

• Support young people with evening, nighttime, and morning routines
• Carry out overnight wellbeing and safety checks
• Complete records including night logs and wellbeing reports
• Conduct handovers with day/evening staff to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain security of the premises and follow fire safety procedures
• Provide high-quality physical and emotional support
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment
• Carry out light domestic duties (laundry, housekeeping)
• Assist with physical tasks, including moving equipment
• Participate in training and uphold regulatory and organisational standards
