Debbie Alder – Director General of Human Resources, Department of Work and Pensions
Debbie is Director General of HR at the Department for Work and Pensions, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Debbie joined the Civil Service in 2009 and worked in DWP, DEFRA, and the Ministry of Justice before taking up her current position in 2014.
Prior to joining the Civil Service, Debbie worked in the private sector for 21 years. In addition to her role as a member of the Movement to Work Board, Debbie is also a trustee of the Whitehall and Industry Group, and a Non-Executive Director of BPDTS.
