Introducing youthpath

Movement to Work (MtW) is excited to bring YouthPath to the Liverpool City Region, in partnership with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA).

Building on the success of the initial launch in the West Midlands, YouthPath is now live and supporting employers across the Liverpool City Region to create meaningful employment pathways—work experience, apprenticeships, and job opportunities—for young people aged 16–30 who are currently not in education, employment, or training (NEET).

Across the UK, almost one million young people are classified as NEET, with parts of the Liverpool City Region among the hardest hit. Youthpath aims to bolster the Government’s Youth Guarantee in trailblazer regions like Liverpool, where targeted action is needed urgently to drive real change.

YouthPath officially launched at the Raise Up Youth Summit in October 2025, where hundreds of young people, employers, and partners came together to kick-start this exciting new phase of the programme.

If you’re an employer in the Liverpool City Region, now is the time to get involved. Join the growing coalition of businesses working with us to open doors for young people, strengthen communities, and build the future workforce.
