Introducing youthpath

Movement to Work (MtW) is proud to introduce YouthPath, a targeted initiative running in partnership with regional combined authorities in the West Midlands region and Liverpool City Region – with plans to expand further.

YouthPath aims to inspire and support businesses to create meaningful employment pathways—work experience, apprenticeships, and job opportunities—for young people aged 16-30 who are currently not in education, employment, or training (NEET).

Across the UK, almost one million young people are classified as NEET, with parts of the West Midlands and Liverpool City Region among the hardest hit. As Youth Guarantee Trailblazer regions, they are a focus for government action. YouthPath was created to complement this effort by delivering targeted support where it is needed most, accelerating skills development and improving employability for young people.
