At Salesforce, we believe that talent is equally distributed, but opportunity is not—and we are committed to closing that gap. That’s why a core focus of our workforce development strategy is preparing the next generation of leaders, especially young people from underserved and underrepresented communities, with the education, skills and access to opportunities to thrive.
Salesforce’s Movement to Work placement is a virtual professional development programme that supports young adults with gaining the skills, networks and insight to kickstart their careers in tech. Participants spend two weeks learning about tech careers, participating in exciting workshops with Salesforce employees, learning from partners in the Salesforce ecosystem, exploring Trailhead and working on group projects.
“We believe that business has a responsibility to upskill the current and future workforce to make sure that people, regardless of their background, don’t get left behind. Through our collaboration with Movement to Work, we are working to ensure all have access to opportunities, and we can support the next generation of leaders.”
– UKI CEO, Zahra Bahrololoumi
