The Movement to Work programme is a three week programme to support young people aged 16-30 not in education, employment or training to get into work. The programme consists of:
- Two-week customer service, health and safety, digital skills and mental health and wellbeing course delivered by your chosen training providers in a classroom setting
- Followed by a store placement for 4 days
- With a guaranteed interview and feedback
This programme is designed to help understand what good customer service looks like and gives you the opportunity to put this into practice.

Harrison, Leicester
After being out of work for three years, Harrison knew his biggest challenge when interviewing for roles was his social anxiety due to suffering with Asperger’s. Harrison came to Tesco on a work placement programme and is now a colleague in their Leicester store.
