We’re proud to be working in partnership with Movement to Work and The Launch Group to deliver a 2 week employability and work experience programme, offering a unique opportunity.

During the programme - 

Through completing the Movement to Work Programme with MBDA, you'll receive a range of employability training which will give you a unique insight to working at MBDA and prepare you for your future. Examples of which include:

• CV writing & Interview skills development

• Understanding the workplace & your role in it

• Work experience within our business

• Future apprenticeship opportunities and entry criteria at MBDA

After the programme - 

You will receive further support with any MBDA Apprenticeship applications you wish to make. MBDA has a wide range of Apprenticeships from level 3 to Level 6 in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing and more!

MBDA’S Apprenticeships

Discover our business, develop your skills, build a network and earn the qualifications you need to succeed. Our four-year apprenticeship schemes provide you with a platform to study, work on exciting projects and make a valuable impact with the work you do, all while earning a salary.

Our apprenticeships focus on business, engineering, software and manufacturing. As part of the programme, you’ll move around the company in rotational placements, where you will gain a wider understanding of what we do, build a network within the organisation and define your future career with us.

There will be plenty of opportunities for you to develop. You’ll work at one of our MBDA sites and study for your qualification via day release at university or college. We also organise bespoke training courses to further enhance and improve your skill set. Starting each September our apprenticeships last for 4 years with salaries starting at £18,000, with a £3,000 joining bonus paid in your first months salary.

Whichever route you pick, all qualifications are paid for by MBDA - all the learning without the debt.

Entry criteria

Each of our apprenticeships has different entry criteria; 

• Advanced apprenticeships (Level 3) :5 GCSES including Maths & English Language at a grade 9-4

• Degree Apprenticeships (level 6): 5 GCSES including Maths & English Language at a grade 9-4 & 120 UCAS points
