We are looking for an Apprentice Shift Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Shift Supervisor will also be expected to motivate and lead their team, develop strategies to increase sales, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and assign tasks to employees.
  • Train and supervise staff.
  • Ensure that all safety regulations are followed.
  • Maintain records of employee attendance and performance.
  • Provide feedback to employees on their performance.
  • Monitor customer service standards and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00 per hour going up to £13.60 per hour

As an Apprentice Shift Supervisor you will be completing a L3 Hospitality Supervison and Leadership Apprenticeship Framework with Inspiro Learning.

You can start an apprenticeship whether you’re starting your career, want a change or you're upskilling in your current job. You can have a previous qualification like a degree and still start an apprenticeship.

As an apprentice you’ll:

  • have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace
  • learn and train for a specific job
  • get paid and receive holiday leave
  • get hands-on experience in a real job
  • study for at least 20% of your working hours
  • complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship
  • be on a career path with lots of future potential

An apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. You’re an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the right skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career.


None required as full training will be given.

Excellent communication skills. Hospitality/retail experience in a similar environment. Some supervisory/team leader experience would be beneficial.
