We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team, with opportunities to grow as the service expands.

Carrick is a small, friendly residential service supporting up to 5 individuals, currently home to 4 people we support. We specialise in supporting adults over 50 with learning disabilities, autism, and physical needs including cerebral palsy.
Our focus is on empowering the people we support to live full, meaningful, and independent lives, encouraging choice, autonomy, and participation in everyday activities.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Typical days include supporting people to access the community for activities such as pub lunches in local towns like Falmouth and Truro, cinema trips, walks, national trust visits, ice creams, trips to the barbers, shiatsu massage, dance class, horse riding, sailing, bus trips.
Experience in care is helpful but not essential—we welcome applicants with transferable skills and the right values.
Desirable (but not essential): Care Certificate or Health & Social Care qualification, experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, understanding of choice, independence, and person-centred care.
