Competition Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before entering the Skill City competition.

1. Promoter

1.1 This competition is promoted by GetMyFirstJob Ltd trading as Talent People ("Talent People"), registered in England and Wales with company number 06685719.

1.2 The registered office is 61 Westway, Caterham, England, CR3 5TQ.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The competition is open to individuals who:

  • are registered users of the Skill City platform; and
  • are 14 or over on the date they enter; and
  • are resident in the United Kingdom.

2.2 Employees of Talent People, its group companies, and anyone professionally connected with the administration of this competition, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

2.3 By entering, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements. Talent People may require proof of eligibility and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not meet these requirements.

3. Competition Period

3.1 The competition opens on Monday 23rd March 2026.

3.2 The competition closes at 23:59 (UK time) on 15 May 2026.

3.3 The prize draw will take place during the week commencing 18 May 2026.

4. How to Enter

4.1 To enter, you must have a valid Skill City account, complete the required modules during the Competition Period, and opt in to the competition via the entry checkbox.

"I would like to enter the Skill City competition. I understand that Talent People will use my personal data only to run this prize draw, select and contact winners, and provide any prize, as set out in the Competition Terms and Privacy Policy."

4.2 No purchase is necessary. Entry is free to all eligible Skill City users.

4.3 Entry is personal to the account holder and cannot be transferred.

5. Entry Criteria

5.1 Entry is based on your engagement with Skill City during the Competition Period.

5.2 An eligible entry requires completion of at least two (2) Skill City modules (or equivalent games/activities clearly labelled as eligible) during the Competition Period.

5.3 Completion will be determined solely by records held in Talent People's Skill City systems.

5.4 Any attempt to artificially inflate completions (multiple accounts, automated tools etc.) will result in disqualification and possible account suspension.

6. Prize Tiers

6.1 There are three prize tiers:

  • Tier 1: One Microsoft 365 and Copilot licence for one year.
  • Tier 2: One Copilot-enabled Surface Laptop.
  • Tier 3: One Xbox games console.

6.2 Prizes are subject to availability. Talent People may substitute any Prize with one of equal or greater value if circumstances make it necessary.

6.3 Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

7. Selection of Winners

7.1 All eligible entrants who have completed at least two qualifying modules during the Competition Period AND validly opted in will be placed into a prize draw.

7.2 Winners will be selected at random using a fair and verifiable process.

7.3 First drawn receives Tier 1, second draws Tier 2, third draws Tier 3.

8. Use of Your Data

8.1 We will use your personal data only to administer the competition, contact winners and fulfil prizes — see our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

9. General

9.1 Talent People reserves the right to amend these terms or cancel the competition where it has a reasonable cause to do so (such as legal, regulatory or technical reasons).

9.2 These Terms are governed by English law.
