Charlotte McGrath – CEO
Charlotte joined Movement to Work in March 2026 as Chief Executive Officer, on secondment from BAE Systems.
Through her career in communications, Charlotte has helped organisations like BAE Systems, Marks & Spencer and Virgin Media engage with internal and external audiences, government, customers and influencers, on wide-ranging strategic priorities. She has extensive experience in delivering strategic campaigns and leading complex change, with an enduring focus on the power of collaboration and the rewards of developing high-performing teams.
Like everyone in the Movement to Work team, Charlotte is passionate about making sure every young person has the opportunity to fulfil their potential. She is excited to be working with an incredible network – from our Steering Group to all our brilliant employers and partners – with the same ambition. Working together to offer quality vocational employment and work placement opportunities to young people not currently in education, employment or training, to improve lives, boost business performance and bring about lasting social change.
Outside of work, Charlotte loves spending time with family and friends, exploring new places and enjoying the great outdoors.
